As I grew up, I have encountered several struggles and multiple lessons along the way. One of the many wonderful lessons I’ve learned over the years and have come to embrace as part of life’s natural order is this – I can’t have everything, but I still have a lot that others don’t have, and there’s always something to be thankful for. Because of this, I became more appreciative of what I have, knowing that I’m still blessed despite not having everything I want and desire. Indeed, there’s a lot to be thankful for and if you just continue to count your blessings, the universe will continue to give you something to be thankful for.
And I know it’s not easy to be grateful all the time, especially when you go through sadness or loss or betrayal or failure and despair. Trust me, I’ve been through those excruciating experiences multiple times, and it’s not pretty at all. You become prone to succumb in misery, anger and bitterness. And all these lead to self-destruction. And there’s no other person who will suffer more other than yourself. So, while it’s harder to be grateful and positive, especially in the midst of chaos and uncertainties, it’s still a better approach. And there’s no other person who will benefit more other than yourself.
They say that happy people are not necessarily grateful, but grateful people are always happy. So I encourage you dear beautiful ones to look on the bright side and count your blessings, be thankful even for the tiniest reason, because after all it is still a blessing meant just for you. Choose to be happy and choose to be grateful always. It’s not just good for your health, but it’s also good for your soul.
May you continue to be blessed with the Gratitude Attitude always.
