As most of you know, David and I are now calling the City of Angels our home — and what a dream it has been! 🌴  It’s not always sunshine and rainbows (hello, traffic!), but every day brings a new story, a new flavor, and a new reason to fall in love with this vibrant city all over again. From golden sunsets to serendipitous friendships, LA has a way of wrapping you in its warm, eclectic embrace.

So, we thought it’d be fun to share our very own LA Alphabet — a little love letter to the moments, places, and people that make this city feel like ours.

A – Alamo Drafthouse  🍿
Our cozy neighborhood cinema just a few blocks away — comfy seats, quirky vibes, and popcorn nights that have become our weekend ritual.

B – Beverly Hills  🌿
Where glam meets brunch! From strolls along Rodeo to our favorite bites at Continental Kitchen and Urth Café — and yes, most of my medical appointments happen here too (because self-care is key 😉).

C – Culver City  🎨
A hub of art, food, and inspiration — and home to my beloved yoga studio. There’s always something new to discover here.

D – Downtown  🏙️
Our hood, our heartbeat. Sure, it’s a little gritty, but it’s real, and it’s home. Everything’s just a short walk or ride away.

E – Echo Swans  🦢
You’ve seen them on TV — the swan boats at Echo Park. A must for slow weekends and sweet date nights.

F – Foodie Haven  🍣
If you crave it, LA has it! From dim sum to dolma, sushi to soul food — every craving gets satisfied here.

G – Glen Ivy Hot Springs  💦
A serene escape outside the city — mineral pools, red clay masks, and the kind of peace that stays with you.

H – Hollywood  🎬️
The magic, the madness, the memories. I used to live right by the Walk of Fame — now it’s our favorite stop for a quick nostalgia trip.

I – InterContinental Hotel  🌇
Drinks at the tallest bar with 360° views of the city — sunset hues, city lights, and that endless LA energy below.

J – Jollibee  🍗
My little slice of home in the middle of downtown chaos. Comfort food at its finest — especially when David’s not watching!

K – Kelsi & Elle  💕
In a city these big, genuine friends are rare. Grateful to have found my tribe in my yoga sisters — my daily dose of laughter and light.

L – Lamay Salon  💇
A chic Vietnamese salon just a skip away — where kindness and great nails always come together.

M – Medici Apartments  🏡
Our humble abode. Not too fancy, not too small — just perfect for our little everyday adventures.

N – NBA (Go Lakers!)  🏀
My dad’s favorite team, now just a few blocks away from home at Crypto Arena. Some dreams really do come full circle.

O – Ohtani (Go Dodgers!)  ⚾️
Because baseball nights are a whole vibe in this city — and yes, we’re World Series bound again!

P – Pantages Theatre  🎭️
Broadway nights, bright lights, and timeless melodies. A perfect date night spot surrounded by great food and even better energy.

Q – Quintessential  ✨️
LA — iconic, classic, chaotic, and full of possibility. The perfect word for this city that never stops reinventing itself.

R – Rodeo Drive  👛
Luxury, people-watching, and a little window-shopping therapy — all part of the LA ritual.

S – Sunset on Sunset  🌅
Because no one does sunsets like LA. Each evening feels like the sky is whispering poetry.

T – Traffic  🚗
Ah yes, the not-so-glamorous side of LA life. Sometimes it feels like the freeways are just massive parking lots — but hey, great time for podcasts!

U – Union Station  🚉
Not the cleanest or the fastest, but there’s something cinematic about LA’s metro — charming in its own imperfect way.

V – Venice Beach  🌊
Bohemian energy, roller skaters, and ocean breeze — it’s a world of its own. We never get tired of it.

W – Waymo  🚘️
Our futuristic neighbor — rows of self-driving cars neatly parked beside our building. It’s like living in a sci-fi movie!

X – Xtravagant  💸
Because, let’s be real, LA life comes with a price tag — but the experiences are worth every cent.

Y – Yoga Six  🧘
My sanctuary in the city. Where my body resets, my mind breathes, and my soul finds its calm.

Z – Zaytinya  🍷
Our go-to date night spot — Middle Eastern flavors by Chef José Andrés, always served with a side of laughter and love.

Every letter holds a story — a reminder of how life unfolds in the most colorful, unexpected ways.  🌈
LA may not be perfect, but it’s perfectly ours.
